Welcome to Goodwill Childcare where we work together as a team to provide a nurturing, safe, and educational environment for your child! We obtained our childcare center license from the state for our first center in September 2023. We follow and comply with all regulations required to be a provider for private and publicly funded childcare.
Philosophy
We are committed to high-quality training and continuously working to maintain and improve our Step Up to Quality rating. Our program encourages children to explore their natural interests and activities through self-directed activity and hands-on learning and collaborative play.
Mission
Goodwill Childcare’s mission is to strengthen our communities by providing an environment where children are safe, nurtured and stimulated allowing their families to re-enter or remain in the workforce and live the lives they envision.
Vision
Goodwill Childcare aspires to be the premiere provider in every community it serves by valuing all children as individuals and being a trusted partner and beacon of positivity in the lives of children and their families.

Enrollment
We do not currently have any openings at the center, but you can register for the wait list by clicking the “register now” button. At this time, we also anticipate expanding the center into the rest of the building in 2024. You may text CHILDCARE to 844-940-2300 to get a text alert when we have updates to share.
Currently we provide services for children ages infant to age 4 including children with disabilities. We will accept private pay and subsidized pay through Job and Family Services’ childcare assistance program.
Our Location

Our childcare center is located in Chillicothe at our former corporate office building at 2541 Western Ave. which finished construction in 2020. In 2024, we anticipate expanding the childcare center into the adjoining Goodwill Services Center which provides services to adults with disabilities. The Goodwill Services Center will move into our new corporate offices, center, and warehouse facility being constructed in Gateway Industrial Park off Ohio 104 North.

Registration & Tuition Fees
A $40 non-refundable family registration fee is charged when a family is accepted and enrolls in the program. When a family withdraws from the program and re-enrolls, there will be a $250 deposit fee which is applied toward tuition.
Registration is completed online through Procare and an enrollment packet can be picked up at the center. We will add a link to the Procare registration form when we begin accepting pre-enrollment applications.
Age | Part-Time (7-24.9 hours) | Full-Time (25-60 hours) |
---|---|---|
Infants (birth to under 18 mos.) | $155 | $225 |
Toddlers (18 mos. to under 3 years) | $140 | $210 |
Preschool (3 years to 5 not enrolled in Kindergarten) | $120 | $200 |
Tuition is charged in advance weekly and payments are due on Monday of the current week. Payment may be made weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly but always in advance of services. You can pay by check or money order at the center or use a credit card through the Procare app. Parent/guardian work schedules are due no later than the Friday before the week of services needed.
Full tuition is charged regardless of program closures or absences. Non-payment of tuition is cause for termination of services.
We accept publicly funded childcare assistance through JFS. As of June 2023, families making up to 142% of the federal poverty level may qualify. (The state budget proposes to increase this.) If you don’t know if you qualify for assistance or if you need help applying, we can help you.
Tuition fees will typically be reviewed annually in December. Any changes to charges will be communicated to parents in writing.
