We will be opening a childcare center in late summer at 2541 Western Avenue in Chillicothe! We will start out offering services for infants and toddlers with plans to expand in the future. We will accept private pay as well as subsidized through Job and Family Services’ childcare assistance program.

The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
Ability to work with all types of people, including those with disabilities. A self-starter who can work independently and as a team player. Must be able to follow instructions, have good attendance, and deal with stressful situations.
Articulates thoughts and expresses ideas effectively using oral, written, visual, and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to comprehend others’ needs.
Is knowledgeable about local, state, and national childcare regulations and industry trends. Has a thirst for knowledge and applies it appropriately. Driven to find answers through research and collaboration.
Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills; oral and written communication skills; and evaluation skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with computers and software programs, such as Excel, Word, and cloud-based software. Proficiency or ability to quickly learn additional software, such as Paycom and Procare.
Must attain all required state certifications.
Good organization and time-management skills.
Pleasant personality and neat appearance.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background investigation, including periodic drug screening, physicals, and annual TB tests.
Are you a go-getter who likes to help projects get up off the ground? We are looking for an executive assistant to help with our effort to start a childcare program in Chillicothe!
The assistant will collaborate with our Childcare Administrator and Missions Coordinator as we create the program and go through the licensing process. Once the center is open, the position will be key in assisting the Childcare Administrator in all aspects of running the program, training, ensuring compliance, and further development of the program.
The position is permanent, full-time with a salary no less than $33,000, based on experience. Workdays typically will be daytime Monday-Friday, but once the center is open, there may be occasions where this position will assist with coverage to ensure appropriate child-to-adult ratios.
Education and or Experience:
Bachelor’s/Associates degree. Extensive experience may be accepted in place of degree.
2 years prior experience working in childcare.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to reach above head, bend from waist, and lift up-to 50 pounds. Accommodations will be made if the person makes use of a wheelchair or other mobility device.
Must pass physical annually
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current state drivers’ license, proof of current auto insurance coverage, and reliable transportation required. Ability to maintain coverage under company insurance policy for liability, bond ability and other required coverages.
